In-vitro meat: Implications on Society

Social
If the general public accepts the concept of consuming in-vitro meat, it will bring a higher standard of living to all of the world’s people, and prevent global unrest. Theoretically, the cell from a single animal would provide enough meat to feed the world’s population. Mass production of meat in factories will allow every country — even those without the farmland, weather, and crops to support livestock — to grow its own meat.
The competition for resources would therefore diminish, reducing cross-border conflicts. Developing countries could also produce enough meat to feed their citizens and avoid uprisings.
