I enjoy seeing how technology has developed, particularly in sports and more specifically in soccer. I am also fascinated with how our smartphones are able to do increasingly more. Ironically, my hobbies include exploring the outdoors and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. I feel that "Absence makes the heart grow fonder", and staying away helps me to truely appreciate the marvels of technolgy.

Technology and World Change class has allowed me to view the world from a fresh perspective. As established from the first day of class, technology is the application of science, and the simplest objects like a chair are the result of advancements in technology. Technology constantly changes and we need to keep up with these changes to stay afloat. It is important to embrace the advantages technologies can bring us, yet try to negate the possible detriments. I was exposed an entire spectrum of eye opening technologies in the course which really sparked my interest in Technology & World Change. I am especially interested in the field of aerospace and how it shrank our world.

Since then I have learnt to appreciate the benefits and conveniences technology has brought, and look forward to more exciting innovations. I am especially interested in how technology might revolutionise the art industry further, as I enjoy drawing.
