This website is a part of the undergraduate programme of our Technology and World Change module at Singapore Mananagement University (SMU), where we will be talking about Genetically Modified Food.

Yali’s question, “Why is it that you white people developed so much cargo and brought it to New Guinea, but we black people have little cargo of our own?” depicts the main focus of Technology & World Change. We should understand the reason behind the differences between developed and non-developed countries, as well as figure out what we can do to change and improve this situation.

We hope to relate our project to Millennium Development Goal No.1: to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.

Our project aims to

Discover how technology can/ have revolutionized the food industry in ways that could potentially;

1. Solve current global starvation and poverty

2. Provide a sustainable food source for future generations.
